Touch can be a sensitive tool or a lethal weapon--especially when it can't be controlled. After JONAS, a sensory enhanced kid with anger issues, accidentally hurts his sister and then fails to save her when she is kidnapped, he agrees to run an errand for Dr. Kavan to Mexico, rather than relying on the twins and the others to help him.
Enhanced taste buds hardly qualifies as a super-power, but that's all that SAM has to work with. Well, that ... and an overactive imagination. He must face his insecurities and use his very normal, but nerdy, brain power to rescue his friends and capture the evil doctor.
I wrote a non-fiction article, "Expecting Miracles," based on my real life experience when my husband lost his job, that was included in the 2020 ANWA Anthology.
I wrote a short story, STANDSTILL, that's included in the 2019 ANWA Anthology, Wards and Rumors of Wards. My story is about a romance that's sparked during standstill traffic.
In 2018, I was asked to be the managing editor for the American Night Writers Association's first anthology. I contributed an article on OUTLINING, edited every article, and typeset the manuscript for publication. There are some amazing articles by some amazing authors.
